TGANC is proud to have been a major sponsor of the Tobacco Curing Exhibit at the NC State Fair every year since 2005, which includes a stringing contest on opening day and a mock auction on the second Friday. Thousands of visitors stop by the exhibit to learn about the heritage of the crop and its economic impact.

2017 marked the third consecutive year of the "tobacco hand contest" where growers across the state enter bundles for the bragging rights of having the best tobacco at the NC State Fair.

TGANC leaders conduct countless interviews during a typical season on a diverse number of topics. Such as TV news interviews about markets or field visits from international media groups learning about on farm production and first hand truths about subjects such as child labor.
